Albany Judge Orders New Trial for Manslaughter Case Where Defense Counsel Met Secretly With Law Clerk

Today’s New York Law Journal reported on a court decision throwing out our client’s conviction for Manslaughter based on ineffective assistance of counsel. This case is a disturbing example of professional misconduct that resulted in our client being deprived of his right to a fair trial. Now that a new trial has been ordered, our battle on behalf of our client continues.
